The Esplanade

The Esplanade is a boutique motel at 23 Beach Road in Batemans Bay. Rooms are light-filled and include private balconies, and many balconies look across Batemans Bay. Rooms also include air conditioning, a TV, a minibar, and tea and coffee facilities, while suites add a separate living room.

The stay works well for travelers who want practical hotel-style services without leaving the building for everything. Breakfast is served in the on-site restaurant, and the restaurant also opens again in the evening on most nights. Meals and drinks can be charged back to the room account during the stay.

Secure car parking is available on the property, and a lift is provided, which makes the building easier to use with luggage. There is also a guest atrium with lounge seating, giving the motel an indoor place to sit outside the room.

The location also keeps the stay simple once parked. The Esplanade is by the boardwalk, and guests can walk from the motel to restaurants nearby. Guests of The Esplanade also receive temporary membership of Batemans Bay Soldiers Club during the stay and can use the club’s facilities.

One limit is the staffed reception schedule: reception runs from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday to Saturday, and from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm on Sundays and public holidays.
