The Anam Cam Ranh is a resort rather than a city hotel, with rooms, suites, and villas set around lawns, palms, pools, and the beachfront. The style is Indochine-influenced, with colonial-era details, local hardwood finishes, patterned tiles, and original Vietnamese artwork used in the interiors.

A Deluxe Room has either one king bed or twin beds, a private balcony, indoor and outdoor seating areas, and an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom setup includes a separate rain shower, a sunken bathtub, a double vanity, and full bathroom amenities. A Premium Room also has one king bed or twin beds, a private terrace or balcony, and an en-suite bathroom with the same separate rain shower and sunken bathtub arrangement.

For a more private stay, the resort has pool villas. The Ocean View Pool Villa has a private pool, ocean views, a private balcony, a separate seating area, and a stone-lined private bathroom. The Oceanfront Pool Villa is closest to the beach and includes a private pool and spacious living room.

The stay works well as a self-contained beach resort because The Anam has outdoor swimming pools, a private beach area, a spa, a fitness centre, tennis, and restaurants on the property. Breakfast is served at the Indochine Restaurant, with international and Vietnamese options. Some villa categories add lounge access, a one-time minibar inclusion, afternoon high tea, and an à la carte breakfast option at Colonial Restaurant.

One limit is that The Anam is a smaller, retreat-style resort and is on the pricier side.
