Premier Inn Aberdare is a limited-service hotel at Riverside Retail Park in Aberdare, so the appeal is practical rather than resort-style. Rooms include pillow-top mattresses, en suite bathrooms with showers, free Wi-Fi, TVs, desks, and tea and coffee-making facilities.

The stay is set up for drivers and simple overnight stops, with free parking on the property. Food is straightforward too: there is an adjoining Brewers Fayre pub and restaurant, and breakfast is available with cooked and lighter choices. The hotel is also smoke-free and has air conditioning.

The hotel also suits a rail-linked stay because Cwmbach station is within walking distance, while the retail-park setting keeps the arrival and parking side uncomplicated.

The main limit is that breakfast is not included as standard; it is an extra charge. This matters if you are comparing Premier Inn Aberdare with a stay where breakfast is built into the room rate.
