Greycroft
Greycroft sits in a quiet private cul-de-sac in Alnwick, a two-minute walk from the town centre.

Greycroft is a bed and breakfast in a Victorian property built in 1895, set within Alnwick’s Conservation Area. The setting gives the stay a quieter base than the high street while still keeping the centre close on foot.
Rooms at Greycroft have en suite showers, Wi-Fi availability, TV/DVD, radio alarm clocks, hairdryers, and easy chairs. The larger rooms have English king-size beds with either two leather tub chairs or a sofa, so the room setup is more than just a bed and bathroom.
Breakfast is served in the garden room, with fruit juices, fruit, cereals, a full Northumbrian breakfast, and Craster kippers. Local produce is used where possible, including meat from a local butcher and local free-range eggs.
The stay also works well for guests arriving by car because Greycroft has designated parking spaces immediately beside the property, with additional free on-street parking on nearby Grey Place and Prudhoe Street. The guest lounge adds an indoor sitting area, and the south-facing walled garden has tables and seating.
One practical limit is that the designated parking spaces in Croft Place are first-come, first-served.
