This is a city hotel on Kotzia Square, next to Athens City Hall, so the stay is set up around central access rather than resort space. The hotel also sits about 2 km from Larissis Railway Station, with road access listed at about a 10-minute drive, which helps if Athens is part of a wider Greece itinerary.

Rooms at Grecotel Pallas Athena have individual design rather than a uniform chain-hotel look. Confirmed room details include custom-made headboards, velvet beds, hand-crafted oak, and marble from Dionysos quarries, giving the rooms a more residential and art-led feel. Some rooms also include wall murals or balconies, while upgraded categories add sitting areas or separate living rooms.

The stay works well inside the building because breakfast is served in the Breakfast Room and Veranda on the first floor. The hotel also has a street-level café bar and terrace for light food, pastries, aperitivo drinks, Negronis, vermouths, and homemade ice cream, plus a residents-only ground-floor lounge for hotel guests.

Grecotel Pallas Athena also has a fitness room, a concierge desk, room service, individually controlled air conditioning, in-room safes, bathrobes and slippers, hairdryers, and magnifying mirrors. Parking is available for a surcharge, so drivers should treat parking as a paid extra rather than an included feature.

That fit comes from the central Athens location, the metro access, the lounge and dining spaces, and the ability to use the property as a practical base rather than only a place to sleep.

One clear limit is that pets are not allowed at Grecotel Pallas Athena. Travelers bringing an animal will need to choose a different Athens property.
