GrandStay Hotel & Suites Ames is a hotel at 1606 South Kellogg Avenue in Ames. The room setup is suite-focused rather than just a standard sleeping room: studios include kitchenettes and pull-out sofas, while one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites add separate living areas. Rooms also include flat-screen TVs, coffee makers, and free Wi-Fi, so the layout works well for a stay where extra space inside the room matters.

The stay is practical in the building itself, with complimentary continental breakfast and free parking. Outside, the patio area includes a putting green, a basketball hoop, and a barbecue grill.

This is a straightforward hotel rather than a resort-style property, but the confirmed features are useful: suite-style rooms, breakfast, parking, an indoor pool, and a hot tub. Pets are welcome for a fee, so the added cost is the main confirmed limit for travelers bringing an animal.
