Courtyard by Marriott Akron Fairlawn is a hotel at 100 Springside Drive in Akron. The rooms and suites include plush Marriott bedding, high-speed Wi-Fi, HDTVs, and ergonomic workspaces, so the room setup is geared toward sleeping, streaming, and working without needing to leave the room. Private bathrooms include free toiletries, and some accessibility features are available in the property, including mobility accessible rooms, roll-in showers, grab rails, and lowered electrical outlets.

Room layouts can include a king bed or two queen beds, and suites add a separate living area. More than three quarters of the rooms include pull-out twin sofa beds. Every accommodation includes a mini refrigerator, and the rooms also include flat-panel TVs with premium channels.

The stay works well for guests who want key services inside the building rather than a bare overnight stop. The Bistro serves breakfast and dinner options, Starbucks coffee, and evening drinks.

The indoor pool is a useful feature for a hotel stay in Akron because it gives guests something to use on the property regardless of outdoor weather. The fitness center includes cardio equipment, exercise bikes, ellipticals, free weights, strength equipment, treadmills, and weight machines. Meeting and event space is also available at the hotel, with catering services offered for events.

One limit is that Courtyard by Marriott Akron Fairlawn does not provide airport shuttle service. Travelers arriving through Akron-Canton Airport or Cleveland Hopkins International Airport need to arrange their own transportation or use the paid transportation option noted by the hotel.
