The Old Brewhouse
The Old Brewhouse sits on the edge of Arbroath’s old harbour, so the stay is shaped by the seafront setting and harbour outlook.

The Old Brewhouse is a small hotel and bed-and-breakfast with a restaurant and bar at 1 High Street in Arbroath. Rooms overlook the harbour area, and the Dangerpoint double room has a dual aspect over the North Sea toward the Bellrock Lighthouse. That room includes a kingsize bed with cotton sheets, a lounge area, seating, a 42-inch HD TV, free internet access, a hostess tray, and enough sockets for laptops and phones.
The bathroom setup is specific rather than generic: en suite facilities include a mains shower, shaving point, hairdryer, towels, and toiletries. Double glazing and central heating are part of the room setup, which matters in a coastal building where weather can be part of the stay. The same room also has a walk-in wardrobe and views of fishing boats and yachts entering the harbour.
The stay works well for guests who want food and lodging in the same building. Cooked breakfast options are available, and the restaurant serves meals during the day, with seafood and pub-style dishes on the menu. Private parking is available at the rear of the building, directly outside the accommodation area.
Free WiFi, Freeview TV, hairdryer, toiletries, and tea and coffee making facilities are included in the rooms. Pet access is not the same in every room: Old Harbour, Captains Cabin, and Signal Tower are pet friendly, while Seagate and Dangerpoint are not pet friendly.
