The London EDITION is a luxury hotel in a restored historic building at 10 Berners Street, London W1T 3NP. The setting gives the property a central London base without needing to turn the note into a sightseeing list: the useful fact is that it sits in Fitzrovia, on the edge of Soho, with Mayfair and Covent Garden also close by.

Rooms use oak floors, wood-panelled walls, bespoke furnishings, and nautical-inspired design details. A Superior King room has a king bed with down comforters and pillows, custom imported linens, and an enclosed rainforest shower. A Deluxe Queen room has a queen bed, the same enclosed rainforest shower setup, custom bathroom amenities, a 55-inch flat-screen HDTV, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, and a Bank & Olufsen Beosound A1.

The stay works well inside the building because dining is part of the hotel rather than an afterthought. Berners Tavern serves seasonal British food, and the hotel also has the Lobby Bar and Punch Room for drinks. Breakfast is recognized at the property, and all-day dining is available at Berners Tavern.

Some higher-category rooms and suites add outdoor space: Premier Terrace rooms have a private outside area with a table and chairs, and some suites also include terrace space. The Penthouse has walk-in wardrobes, a pantry, three terraces, and two bathrooms, so the room choice changes the amount of private space significantly.

The London EDITION also has a gym and event spaces, so it functions as more than a room-only London hotel. The hotel does not provide an airport shuttle, so airport transfers need to be arranged separately.
