The Carriage House

The Carriage House, Ocean Grove, puts you one block from the ocean and one block from town, so the beach and the center of the village are easy to reach without planning the day around driving.

This is a B&B on Embury Avenue with refined, individually decorated rooms. Each room has a private bath and air conditioning, and some rooms have a balcony, ocean views, a private porch, a bathtub, or a working fireplace. Guests say the bathrooms are praised, and the stay has a quiet, polished feel rather than a big-hotel feel.

Breakfast is included and served in an elegant dining room with homebaked bread. There is also a guest kitchen and a lounge with a piano. The beach is a 2-minute walk away, Asbury Park Convention Hall is 1 mile away, Asbury Park Boardwalk is an 18-minute walk away, and The Stone Pony is a 15-minute walk away. Children age 11 and over are welcome, infants and toddlers cannot be accommodated, pets are not allowed, the property is smoke-free, and there is no parking.
