Planula Bed & Breakfast Retreat, Byron Bay, gives you a quiet B&B base in lush tropical gardens just over three kilometres from the centre of town. The B&B sits on more than 50 acres, with wildlife around the ponds and garden views from the rooms.

The rooms are modern and have ensuite bathrooms, ceiling fans and reverse-cycle air conditioning. Room options include a queen-size double room, a garden suite with king double or twin bedding, and a queen ensuite room with a double spa. Some rooms can be set up for triple share.

Continental breakfast is included, with home-baked muffins or freshly baked bread, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, juice, tea and plunger coffee. There is a guest kitchen, an outdoor BBQ area, a lounge with a wood fire in winter, books, games, and off-street on-site parking. Cruiser bike hire is subject to availability, and the B&B does not accommodate children under 12. Melaleuca Drive is unsealed and dark at night, with no street lights. The property is temporarily closed, so reservations need to be checked before booking.
