Morgans Hotel in Abertawe is a boutique hotel on Somerset Place, in a building connected with Swansea’s former harbour industry. The setting is useful if you want a central stay rather than a remote coastal base, with the maritime quarter and city centre forming the practical core of the visit.

Rooms and suites have specific in-room features rather than a one-style-fits-all layout. Deluxe rooms in the main hotel include Egyptian cotton bedding, air conditioning and bathrooms with double shower heads. Suites add more space, a seating area, large-screen televisions, air conditioning and large contemporary bathrooms with double shower heads and double sinks.

The stay is set up with on-site parking in the Morgans Hotel car park on Adelaide Street, just in front of the hotel. There is also an overflow car park on Bath Lane when the main car park is full. Electric vehicle charging is available in the hotel parking area.

Breakfast is available in the building and is served in a banquet hall. The hotel also has a champagne bar and a cocktail lounge, so the public areas are more than just a reception desk and corridors.

One limit is the pet policy: Morgans Hotel is pet-free, with only guide dogs and registered assistance dogs permitted.
