Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo is a luxury hotel in the Nihonbashi district of Tokyo, at 2-1-1 Nihonbashi Muromachi in Chuo-ku. The hotel sits in the Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower, with guest accommodation on upper floors of the building, so the stay is shaped by high-floor city views rather than a low-rise neighborhood setting.

Rooms use contemporary Japanese design, and confirmed room features include floor-to-ceiling windows, a lounge area, Asian art, a bath and walk-in shower, and a valet closet. The Mandarin Grand Room adds crafted bamboo floors, bespoke Japanese fabrics, a headboard with weeping cherry blossom embroidery, goose down bedding, bathrobes, yukata kimonos, and bathroom products by Natura Bissé.

For a more view-focused room, the Deluxe Premier Room has a Tokyo Skytree view from floors 32 to 36, along with a bath and walk-in shower, lounge area, floor-to-ceiling windows, Asian art, and goose down bedding. Some suites add a separate living room, rain shower and soaking tub, guest powder room, and panoramic views from every room.

The stay works well logistically because the hotel connects directly to Mitsukoshimae subway station and Shin-Nihonbashi Station, while Kanda Station is a 7-minute walk and Tokyo Station is an 8-minute walk. Parking is available for staying guests for a nightly fee, and the hotel also has a fully equipped fitness centre.

The spa is on the 37th floor and includes treatment rooms, spa suites, a spa studio, heat and water experiences, and views over Tokyo. Suite guests receive access to the Heat and Water facilities during spa operating hours, including a vitality pool, steam room, and sauna with views toward Tokyo Skytree or Mount Fuji.

Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo also supports longer in-building stays with multiple dining venues, cocktails and afternoon tea at the Oriental Lounge, and a gourmet shop for cakes, bread, chocolates, pastries, deli items, tea, and coffee.

One real limit is that Mount Fuji views are subject to weather conditions, so those views are not guaranteed even in room types where they are mentioned.
