Majestic Inn and Spa is a historic boutique hotel at 419 Commercial Ave, with its downtown setting doing real work for the stay rather than just giving the address. The building dates back to 1890, and the hotel combines a restored historic building with contemporary lodging areas, so the experience is more polished than a simple roadside motel while still fitting the scale of Anacortes.

Rooms are set up with plush bedding, refined furnishings, and oversized windows. Some rooms add more specific features, including a kitchenette, a fireplace, or views toward Fidalgo Bay, so the room choice matters if you want extra space or a stronger sense of place.

The stay works well because there is a large parking lot directly behind the hotel on 5th Street. Majestic Inn and Spa also has on-site dining, a bistro and bar, a full-service spa, and a seasonal rooftop lounge. The Apothecary Spa is in the historic building and includes a eucalyptus steam room.

Select rooms are available for pets, but guests need to arrange a pet-friendly room with the front desk rather than assuming every room allows dogs.

The main limit is that Majestic Inn and Spa does not have its own swimming pool or hot tub. The hotel points guests to a local swimming pool less than a mile away, so this is a better fit if the downtown location, spa, dining, and parking matter more than having a pool inside the property.
