Inn of the Rockies is a townhouse-style hotel accommodation rather than a traditional room-only inn. The stay is built around two-bedroom townhouses with two queen beds and a queen-size pull-out sofa bed, giving the interior separate space for sleeping, relaxing, working, and dining. Each townhouse includes a full kitchen, a living area with a fireplace, and one and a half bathrooms.

Most townhouses have a balcony off the master bedroom with a Rocky Mountain view, and all townhouses have a rear patio that opens to green space and communal barbecue areas. Bedrooms are air conditioned, and the majority of guest lodgings are set over two storeys, with a one-level handicap-accessible unit also available. Some townhouses also include an in-suite washer and dryer.

The stay works well for longer visits because parking on the property is free, private secured internet is provided in each townhouse, and free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. Inn of the Rockies also has an indoor pool, a year-round hot tub, an exercise and fitness facility, communal barbecue areas, meeting rooms, and a business centre. Coffee and teas are provided at check-in, and additional snacks and beverages are available at the front desk.

That fit comes from the furnished two-bedroom layout, the kitchen, the dining area, the laundry option in many units, and the outdoor patio or balcony space rather than from a standard hotel-room setup.

The limit is firm: each townhouse sleeps a maximum of six people, and there is no capacity for extra beds or cots. Pets are not allowed on the property.
