Hôtel La Caravelle is a hotel-motel at 202 Boulevard la Salle in Baie-Comeau, with several room categories rather than one fixed room style. The suite gives the clearest picture of the accommodation: it includes two double beds, a sofa bed, a closed wardrobe, direct access to the bathroom, and a separate living area with a fireplace. It also has indoor and outdoor access, which makes the room feel more self-contained than a standard hotel room.

Some room setups include practical in-room equipment, including a fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen table, and chairs. The property also lists air conditioning and a small refrigerator among unit equipment, so the stay is geared toward a straightforward overnight stop or a longer practical stay rather than a resort-style experience. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and in some shared areas.

The stay works well because the hotel has free self-parking on site, breakfast available in the building for an extra charge, an on-site restaurant, and an on-site bar.

Daily housekeeping is available on request, and service is offered in English and French. Outdoor areas include a garden, a sun terrace, and outdoor furniture, giving the property a bit more space to pause between drives or appointments in Baie-Comeau.

The main limit is accessibility: Hôtel La Caravelle has no elevator. Some rooms and bathrooms are adapted for reduced mobility, but guests with specific accessibility needs should treat the lack of an elevator as an important booking detail.
