The location is the main practical reason to consider it: the hotel puts the port and the green-line railway connection to central Athens within walking distance, so the stay works well when the next part of the trip depends on a ferry or public transport.

Rooms are simple and include Wi-Fi, a TV and air conditioning. Some rooms use shared bathrooms, while upgraded rooms add en suite facilities and may include a minifridge. Some rooms have bunk beds and can sleep up to three people, which gives Hotel Achillion a more functional, transit-focused feel than a resort-style stay.
