Harbour Plaza Resort City is a resort hotel at 18 Tin Yan Road in Tin Shui Wai, New Territories. The hotel is made up of two high-rise towers, and the stay is built around larger hotel facilities rather than a small guesthouse feel. Its setting in Tin Shui Wai is useful if you want to stay in the north-west New Territories with rail and road access instead of being in the dense central hotel districts.

Rooms and suites include specific layouts beyond a standard sleeping space. A Parkview Suite has a separate living room with a sofa bed, a bedroom with a king-sized bed, a food preparation area, and a spacious bathroom, and some of these suites include private balconies. Resort Suites add a separate dining and food preparation area, a bedroom with a king-sized bed, a living room with a sofa, a spacious bathroom, and a separate washroom.

The stay works well as a full-service hotel stay because the property has dining outlets, an outdoor swimming pool, a gymnasium, a spa, and sports and recreation facilities. The hotel also has function space, so the building is set up for meetings, events, and weddings as well as overnight stays. Free Wi-Fi, non-smoking rooms, connecting rooms, accessible rooms, restaurants, tea and coffee making facilities, and an airport shuttle bus service are also part of the hotel facilities.

The room setup is especially practical when you want more separation between sleeping and sitting space, since selected suites include a living room and a bedroom rather than only one open room.

One limit to note is that extra beds and food preparation tools are available at an additional cost, so those items are not automatically included in every stay.
