Green Highlander Lodge is a small lodge-style stay in Baddeck, Cape Breton, with a fly-fishing theme rather than a large-hotel feel. The interior details include log siding, hardwood floors, artwork, photography, a fireplace, and books for browsing, which gives the building a more personal lodge atmosphere.

The suites have a private three-piece bathroom, one queen-size bed, cable TV, a clock radio, fans, and a private balcony with a harbour view. The named suites share the same practical setup, so the room choice is less about different facilities and more about staying in a compact lodge room with its own bathroom and outdoor view space.

Breakfast is included at the Yellow Cello Café, and free parking is available. Laundry facilities are on site, which is useful for a Cape Breton stay that is part of a longer route rather than a single overnight stop.

The property also has a waterside cottage called the Boat House on the shore of Bras d’Or Lake. It has one bedroom with a double bed, four bunks in the main area, a full bathroom, a small equipped kitchenette, a deck with lake views, and direct access for a swim in Bras d’Or Lake.

Green Highlander Lodge works best as a straightforward Cape Breton base where the location does much of the work: the village setting, dock across the street, walkable Baddeck amenities, included breakfast, and parking make the stay easy without needing a resort-style setup. The only specific booking limit confirmed is for the Boat House cottage, which has a minimum stay of three nights.
