Golden Square Motor Inn is a motel at 371 High Street in Golden Square, with a practical setup for a short Bendigo stay.

The room details are specific rather than vague. A Standard Queen Room has a queen-size bed, while a Standard Twin Room has one queen-size bed and one single bed. A Standard Queen Room with Bath adds extra space, a queen-size bed, a 40-inch Smart TV, and a large corner bath in an adjoining room.

The stay works well because the motel includes free Wi-Fi, free parking, reverse-cycle air conditioning, and 40-inch Smart TVs. A Tesla destination charger is available, and there is a designated smoking area. The motel also notes chargebacks from local pubs and takeaway deliveries, which keeps meals simple without needing a full hotel restaurant setup.

For location, Golden Square Motor Inn is listed as 2.5 km from the Bendigo CBD. The motel is next door to the Hibernian Hotel and opposite Innes Motors Honda, which makes the building easier to identify on High Street. It also places an excellent bistro next door and Tab facilities within a short stroll.

The clearest limit is room capacity: the Standard Queen Room and the Standard Queen Room with Bath are each for a maximum of two people, while the Standard Twin Room is capped at three guests in total.
