Forster Motor Inn, Forster, puts you within a five-minute walk of Wallis Lake, the main beach, shops, and restaurants. The motel sits on Wallis Street in the heart of town, so once the car is parked, much of the stay can be done on foot.

Rooms range from a Standard Queen Room for a solo traveler or couple to twin and family rooms. The Twin Room has a large double bed and a single bed, while the Large Family Room has a queen bed plus a second bedroom with a double bed and two single beds. Some larger rooms are self-contained with a kitchenette, microwave, toaster, mini-fridge, and tea and coffee making facilities. Guests say the rooms are clean, fresh, comfortable, and a good size.

Parking is on site, and the motel has an outdoor swimming pool and a BBQ area. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the on-site restaurant is for groups only and depends on availability.
