Family Hotel Lighthouse

Family Hotel Lighthouse sits atop the white cliffs of Bulgaria’s northern Black Sea coast, a setting that suits golfers because the resort is in the Cape Kaliakra golf area.

Family Hotel Lighthouse in Balchik is part of Lighthouse Golf & Spa Resort, 5 km after Balchik on the E87 road. The hotel is positioned by the Black Sea and within the Cape Kaliakra Signature Golf Coast, with the resort setting built around golf, spa time, pools, dining, and leisure facilities rather than a small city-center stay.

Rooms include private balconies, with views facing the sea, the golf course, or landscaped gardens. A twin room has two single beds, a spacious bathroom, and a sitting area, while a double room has a king-size bed. Suites add more space, and some penthouse options include private infinity pools.

The stay works well on site because hotel guests have access to the spa thermal zone, the beach and swimming pool facilities, fitness areas, restaurants and bars, and high-speed Wi-Fi in rooms and facilities. Outdoor parking is available at the resort, and the hotel also lists room service, laundry and drying services, indoor games, shops, medical services on request, and transfer or taxi services on request.

Families have practical resort features such as kids activities, an indoor kids room, children supervision, an outdoor playground, mini-golf, and outdoor sports. Golfers have the Lighthouse course and nearby signature golf options within the resort area.

One limit is the pet rule: pets are allowed only on request, must be registered, and carry an extra charge. Shuttle services are also listed with an extra charge, so travelers who need resort transport should not treat that as an included service.
