The retreat sits on Mulhollands Road, three kilometres off the highway and ten minutes from Bairnsdale, on a 130-acre property with farmland, vegetable gardens, orchards, rocky outcrops, native bush, and areas used as wildlife sanctuary.

The accommodation is in private earth-sheltered apartments with native garden roofs and glass fronts facing the rural and bush setting. Lakeview is a spacious apartment for two with a queen bed, kitchen, bathroom, living area, private deck, and lake view. The Burrow sleeps four and has queen beds, a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and tea and coffee facilities, plus a mountain view. Guests say the place is very clean, very comfortable, and staff are excellent.

Breakfast is available, parking is on site, and the property has a sun terrace, garden, laundry, barbecue facilities, outdoor furniture, and non-smoking rooms.
