Days Inn by Wyndham Alpena is a hotel in Alpena at 1496 M-32 West, on Highway 32. The room setup is practical rather than elaborate: rooms and suites include private bathrooms with showers and tubs, Wi-Fi, TVs, minifridges, and tea and coffee makers. Upgraded rooms and suites add microwaves, and some include kitchenettes; suites also add sitting areas and extra beds.

The stay works well for travelers who want services inside the building rather than only a place to sleep. A continental breakfast is provided, and parking is available on the property, including parking for RVs and buses.

The hotel is also pet-friendly, which can matter for guests traveling through Alpena with a dog.

The practical limit is the airport shuttle: it is available, but it carries a fee. That makes the shuttle useful for airport access, but it is not an included transfer.
