BIG4 Middleton Beach Holiday Park is a holiday park rather than a conventional hotel, so the setup is built around self-contained accommodation, caravan sites, camping sites, and shared park facilities. The Beach Houses are positioned on the dunes at Middleton Beach and have ocean views, while the cabins and beach houses include private kitchens, bathrooms, and linen. One Spa Chalet option has a queen bed in each bedroom, and the standard chalet has an outdoor patio area.

The stay works well for guests who want beach time without needing to drive first, because the park is on the coastline and has direct beach access. On the property, there is a swimming pool, a hydro spa, playgrounds, a jumping pillow, a recreation room, a mini movie theatre, BBQ areas, a campers kitchen, laundry facilities, and a park general store. Electric and gas BBQs are placed around the park, including by the pool, the amenity block, the camp kitchen, and the gated entrance area.

One practical limit is the WiFi. It is complimentary, but it can be limited at times because the park depends on the local service provider, and it is usually suitable for email and social media rather than streaming movies.
