Antelope Lodge is a vintage motor-court motel in Alpine, built in the late 1940s and kept in the style of white stucco cottages with red clay tile roofs, stone porches, and a central courtyard. The rooms keep that roadside-lodge character rather than a chain-hotel feel, with Southwestern decor and hard floors such as polished concrete, ceramic, cement, or original linoleum tile.

Room details are specific enough to help with expectations. Some rooms have a queen-size bed, a courtyard view, a refrigerator, and a coffee maker, while the Courtyard Suite has two full-size beds, a living area, a full bathroom, two TVs, a microwave, a refrigerator, a sink, and a coffee maker. The broader room setup includes private bathrooms, air conditioning, cable TV, and kitchenettes in select rooms.

The stay works well for travelers who want simple motel convenience rather than a large-service hotel. Parking is on the property and is arranged by the cottage, and the grounds include tree-shaded picnic tables and charcoal grills. Stone patios with rocking chairs give the cottages an outdoor place to sit, with views toward the courtyard and, from some areas, the mountains.

Antelope Lodge is pet-friendly, and advance notice is required before bringing a pet. The main facility limit is leisure-focused: Antelope Lodge does not have a pool or a hot tub.
